When you begin to feel a significance contraction of the legs muscle then you are around 16 Hz. If you don't feel contraction induced by the machine, you are below 16Hz. If you ar at maximum frequency and there is no muscle contraction, you can be sure that is a fake device, even if the price is 9000 € or USD.
So when you feel a slight contraction you are around 16Hz, then gradually increase the frequency, at 18Hz it becomes strong, at 24 probably you can't increase for it's too strong. Once you'll be trained you can go up to 26 27 and even 30Hz those who make muscle conditioning such athletes.
