Kim, I can tell you Galileo 2000 has exactly the same price of the Galileo Fitness here in Europe, around 8200 euro + 19% to 20% VAT depending the country.
The two platforms are quite the same if used for phisio rehab purposes.
Galileo 2000 has a lower height plate, distance from the ground is less of the G fitness, so it is more accessible to impaired.
MAX Performance of the Galileo 2000 is the same (qite the same) of the Galileo SPORT, though. 12,2 galileo 2000 vs 12,8mm Galileo Sport.
See the two models below.

In red the main differences. Think that the engine is more powerful, also. However it is of 2 horses (1400watt) on G fitness, don't remember if it is 3 horses on Galileo 2000. Anyway it is never used to max power.
BOTH are Medical units: it means the electronical components are totally different from the normal units.
Those Canadian and for the US market are totally developed and assembled by the US dealer. So the machine is called differently, but the mechanics are exactly the same.
Another difference is, yes, the handlebar. Galileo 2000, despite the vintage look, has a more flexible handlebar, which is more useful for rehab and phisio purposes.
I can tell you Galileo mechanics is the most reliable on the planet. I was at Novotec at the end of June and saw one of the first prototypes, 20 years, still perfectly working...
