Hi there Kim

welcome to the forum !!!

Don't ask me why the same machines are called Galileo in Europe and Vibraflex (which is really a weird name for this high profile machine) in the US and Canada. Maybe some license agreements, I don't know, really

I can tell you about the Galileo models range:
TRAINING DEVICES
Galileo Sport>20G intensity built for extreme training for elite pros athlete, comes with chips, eventually. A monster.
Galileo FIT (NEW actually for germany only - june 09)
>15G The STANDARD for the fitness, for the wellness, for the professional use in gyms and beauty centers.

Galileo Advanced15G intensity, 35kg or 77lbs, for me the best machine ever, for a personal trainer or for the home. You control it with a remote control.
Galileo Advanced Plus is the same as above but with the control panel and the handlebar.

Galileo Basic>12G vibration, 35kg 77lbs, basically for the women at home. Smaller plate, smaller engine. It comes with the handlebar in the
Galileo Basic Plus version.
MEDICAL DEVICES
GALILEO FITNESS>15G vibe intensity. Actually the best device for anything (for me). It goes from 5 to 30Hz, and you can do balance to muscle power. Galileo Fitness Chip, with the chip cards with programs.
Galileo MED M (NEW)
Should be the same as the Galileo Advanced Plus with a Medical Certification: totally hi profile electronic components and parts to not interfere with other MED devices.
Galileo 2000 18G The standard for a decade in the major studies made on WBVT in the medical sector. Both have VINTAGE look but are still one of the best choice out there.
Galileo 900Same as above, both are old models, always in production on request, eventually, but both have been substituted by Galileo Fitness (med device)
Galileo Delta A - Galileo Delta CIt is a Galileo Home Plus mounted on a recliner bed. For those impaired or who are unable to stand up. A is for adult C for children.
Then you have the dumbells... see them all on the
official Novotec websiteKim K wrote:I would definitely be interested in a training model and if they really work the way it seems they should, I may also be interested in opening a studio here.
KIM, the best feedback I get from my 250 customers is from those that use a Galileo (Advanced at home, Fitness for professional use). While from the others I don't hear so often, those with a Galileo call me to say they are really enthusiast! So, beside any other tech feature we may speak days and write books, I think that is the main difference.
I can tell you this, also. In hope the other manufacturers I deal with will not see and try to kill me (but a forum is for discussion and tell opinions, ok???!!!)

when somebody try the other machines, let say a vertical uniform... and they step on a Galileo they don't want to step back on any other then.
I was yesterday in a rehab department to explain and make the phisios try the vibration, and the girls when on the Fitness trying for the first time, all of them said "Hey, it is a pleasure". You can't say that on any vertical device. You always hear comments like "huh... I feel pain (not really pain but discomfort) in the eyes" can you stop, please? While on the Galileo you have to stop the machine for they would like to stay there more of the allowed 3 minutes time.
Kim K wrote:Vibraflex website is hard to go through and freezes on me all the time. It's also hard to know the prices of the different models or find the specs on all of them. Can you give me a recommedation?
I will report to Novotec the issue so they can tell to the US CANADA reps, for the recommendation...
Stay on the GALILEO FITNESS, which should be the VIBRAFLEX 550
OK let's make a reference tab for me also!!!
GALILEO SPORT = VIBRAFLEX 600
GALILEO FITNESS = VIBRAFLEX 550
GALILEO ADVANCED = VIBRAFLEX 4505
GALILEO ADVANCED PLUS = VIBRAFLEX 450
GALILEO BASIC = VIBRAFLEX HOME EDITION II
GALILEO BASIC PLUS = VIBRAFLEX HOME PLUS
GALILEO HOME = VIBRAFLEX HOME EDITION
Galileo Home

PRICES can tell you the Europe prices in private, but for the US CANADA you should ask to the Vibraflex Canada reps
info@motionhealth.ca or to Novotec directly
kontakt@novotecmedical.de for the prices are subject to slight variation, depending on complicated factors
I can tell of many features to understand what device is better, above any doubt, in order to choose without my opinion, but I will do that on a separate post, ok? Maybe it will become too long.
Ask me any other question you may like to know, possibly simple questions, one by one on a different post, ok?
It was a pleasure to talk with you!
